Lately I've been diggin' berries in smoothies. They're wonderful for your body and full of antioxidants! Plus they taste bomb.com :)
In these smoothies I have a variety of blueberries, strawberries, red raspberries, and blackberries. They're blended up with banana and either coconut water or almond milk!
PS... Coconut Water is my favorite in smoothies!
It's a great way to replenish after a sweaty workout because it has electrolytes in it. It also lets the berry flavors come through more than almond milk. Recipe belowww!
1/2 cup mixed frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, red raspberries, and blackberries)
1/2 frozen banana
3/4 cup coconut water
Optional- vanilla protein powder
Blend! And then...
Cut up banana
And enjoy! Eating your smoothie in a bowl is a great way to take time and enjoy it (BONUS if it's in an awesome Coconut Bowl!!). It also allows you to chew your smoothie which will start the digestion process!
