Why in the world would you want to create your own fitness instagram? A fitness instagram is a FREE tool that you can use to track your health & fitness journey.
You can post food photo, after food photo, after food photo and no one is going to care. Earned that #SweatySelfie? Take a photo & post it. That's what this kind of instagram is for. And let me tell you... it is one amazing way to hold yourself accountable and eventually look back at your journey. Just one photo a day makes a difference.
Keep in mind this is YOUR fitness instagram.
It can be private, it can be PUBLIC.
You can put just food photos or you can put up your before and after transformation photos.
It's entirely up to you!
Here are a few reasons I love having a personal fitness instagram:
It starts with 1 photo a day. Just 1. It doesn't have to be beautiful, styled, or perfect.. it just has to be a picture of you doing something for yourself. A sweaty selfie, healthy dinner, new book, the sunrise, trying new food, etc. Holding yourself accountable for taking 1 photo a day and posting will make your mind start to think of different things you can do to work on yourself.
*Be sure you're actually doing the things in the photo.. You're only cheating yourself by just taking the photo and posting it. No ones watching you except you.*
If you keep your fitness instagram public.. you'll soon find there are millions of girls alllll around the world doing what you're doing. You'll see BBG girls (Bikini Body Guide created by Kayla Itsines), girls from the #TIUteam (Tone It Up), Fitness Blender, Fit Body Guide (Anna Victoria), and so many others! (Like @girlsgotgoalz ;) )
You can connect and find so many others.. cheer them on, learn from them, and lean on them. There are real girls doing what you're doing. If you're open and share about your journey.. about your goals, ideas, setbacks, and accomplishments, it will open your eyes to a whole new world.

If you post 1 photo for a year, that's 365 days and 365 posts. At the end of the year.. spend some time looking back at all your photos. You'll probably notice you've come so far!
• That 5k you wanted to run at the beginning of the year was accomplished in the summer!
• Those size 8 jeans you wanted to fit back into? DONE in the spring.
• Try a meatless Monday for a month? All of August shows that.
This is a chance to look back and be proud of yourself. Each one of these little squares represent a time that you created change in your life. It's not easy.. so give yourself a big pat on the back!
