A lot of you know I went meat free about three years ago now, starting with red meat, and eventually cutting all meat out of my diet. This was a personal decision, my family eats meat (besides my one aunt and cousin), everyone I know eats meat. My husband is a hunter and his whole family hunts and eats meat. But if there's one thing I want you to take away from this.. is that you do you.
This is what Girls Got Goalz is all about, making life work FOR you. Doing what you want and need to do for yourself. Making decisions for yourself. Doing what it takes to get you to your goals. And one of my goals has been going cruelty free.
What do I mean when I say cruelty free?
Removing and not using/supporting any brand/product that does any kind of testing on animals.
You'd be surprised if you knew the amount of pain, torture, and just awfulness that goes into today's producing of products. Especially these products that we're putting on and in our bodies. Like I said, this was a personal decision of mine. I want my life to feel good and support the things I love, and a big part of that is animals.
Going cruelty free is actually getting easier these days! Below you'll find a list of my favorite cruelty free brands and products. Most you can find anywhere from Target, Amazon.com, and even Thrive Market.
I love my animals, so this post is near and dear to my heart. I'm trying to help our furry friends out.

Side note here.. Stowaway reached out to me last August wondering if I'd like to try out their makeup. I immediately googled them and wanted to find out if they were cruelty free, turns out they are and they are even EU compliant. I wouldn't be telling you about them if I didn't actually like these products. I've already used up the eyeliner and mascara!

HOW TO GO CRUELTY FREE
First.. Check to see if the products you already own are Cruelty Free.
You can see if they're listed on this site... http://www.leapingbunny.org/guide/brands
Or look on the back of the packaging, do you see a bunny anywhere?
Or does it say Not Test On Animals?
Look for a Leaping Bunny on the packaging. If you have that, it's cruelty free.
Sometimes a package won't say anything or have a bunny, but the product is actually Cruelty Free. I recommend googling and see if you can find out, you should be able to.
Once you find out if they are or aren't Cruelty Free, I'd recommend using the product up. There's no need to waste. But once that product gone or you're looking for something new, check the back or google the brand before buying! It takes little to no effort to go cruelty free. It's one small but HUGE step you can take.
Are you cruelty free? Do you have a favorite product or brand that you just can't live without? Comment it down below, I'd love to hear from you!
PS.. This post is not sponsored by any brand. This is my own research and knowledge about going cruelty free. If you see a product here that is not cruelty free, please email me and let me know. Other than that, enjoy! :)
