We have this thing at work.. When 10:00 comes around, it's SNACK TIME!! Yes, everyone in the office follows this "rule" and we're all about the healthy snacks. Feed your body well and it will treat you well. :) So today I'm sharing my top 4 Girls Got Goalz approved snacks I personally stash of at work.
4 STASHED SNACKS
These bad boys were my go-to snack. Usually just a handful or so will keep you full for a few hours. They're packed with protein and are so easy to munch on!
I love these little guys for the perfect afternoon snack.. Or right after lunch when you're craving chocolate. Usually half a bar will do and then I put the other half in the fridge. I like them cold! Plus they don't melt that way. :)
Okay so this one isn't really a snack.. But hear me out. If you're not really hungry but you're reaching for that cookie in the microwave... (doesn't everyone put snacks in the microwave because "Out of sight, out of mind!"?) Try tea instead. This usually does the trick.
This sounds silly but apples are a great snack to keep on hand. I usually have a few sitting above my desk or in the fridge.
5. PEANUT BUTTER!
I keep peanut butter at work because I can add it to a lot of things (like apples!) and it's filled with good fats and protein. My favorite is Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter (which I recently found and fell in love with! If you're wondering why, here's the story.)
